Ryan signed a two year deal after finishing his studies at Loughborough University and was given his debut in the Championship match with Essex at Grace Road. He didn't disappoint as he picked up career best figures of 3-49 in the first innings and added another scalp in the short second innings and has continued to impress ever since. Has appeared regularly for the First XI this season and claimed new career best figures of 3-32 once again against Essex and featured in 20/20 Cup Final win.
