Mansoor Amjad is regarded as one of the finest young players in Pakistan. A geniune all rounder, the 18 year old joined Leicestershire briefly in 2006 as a replacement for Dinesh Mongia but returned home early due to injury. There is a possibility that Amjad will return to Grace Road next season as he is held in very high regard by coach Tim Boon.
