After showing so much promise in 2003, John failed to deliver in 2004 but with age on his side he still has time to progress. Made a 50 in the Championship vs Durham which was the only bright spot of the match! Grabbed 2 wickets in an over in the C&G match at Warwickshire and is a regular in the Championship and 20/20 line ups. Hit his first century of 2005. with a classy 148 at Worcester and his medium pace bowling is coming on leaps and bounds. Has started 2006 in excellent form.
