David was released by Kent at the end of 2006 after an extended trail with Leicestershire and showed enough promise in the second team to earn full contract with the County for 2007. A geniunely fast bowler, 'Stifler' came to prominence with his native Yorkshire and it whilst with them that he made a name for himself as a highly rated fast bowler for the England U19's.
