Veteran seamer AJ Harris has signed on for the 2009 season after being released by Nottinghamshire and will plug the gap left by the controversial departure of Garnett Kruger. The 35 year old has struggled to make an impact at Trent Bridge in recent years after moving to Notts from Derbyshire in 1999 and spent much of last season on loan at Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. AJ played a key role for Notts though in their Championship winning side of 2005 by taking 49 wickets.
